Applications

In the polyurethane industry, BDMA is a catalyst for polyester polyurethane block flexible foam, polyurethane rigid foam, polyurethane sheet and adhesive coatings. Good adhesion between the foam and the substrate;
In the field of organic synthesis, BDMA is mainly used as catalyst, corrosion inhibitor, acid neutralizer, accelerator for electron microscope slice embedding, etc.
BDMA is also used to synthesize quaternary ammonium salts, to produce cationic surface active strong fungicides, etc.;
In terms of epoxy resins, BDMA is mainly used to promote curing systems such as acid anhydrides, polyamides, fatty amines, etc., and accelerate product curing. It is widely used in epoxy resin electronic potting materials, encapsulation materials, epoxy floor coatings, and marine paints. Used as curing accelerator;
Specific application examples of BDMA are: carbon fiber/monomolecule epoxy resin matrix composite laminates, electrophoretic coatings for epoxy substrates, and dry-type transformer potting compounds.
