Applications

As amphoteric surfactant, it can be used as thickener, conditioner, wetting agent, antibacterial agent, antistatic agent, etc.
It can be used as main agent, thickener, viscoelastic surfactant and oil displacement agent for self-steering acid in oil and gas fields.
It has good salt tolerance and is used as acidifying diverting agent. As the pH of the system decreases, the viscosity of the system increases rapidly, and viscoelastic solutions or gels with different strengths can be formed, which can be used as the main agent of clean fracturing fluid, self-steering acid, and viscoelastic surfactant (VES).
When combined with anionic surfactants, it has a more obvious thickening effect than alkyl betaines such as CAB;
It has high surface/interfacial activity, temperature resistance and hard water resistance. Under strong acid conditions, the viscosity of the solution can be increased sharply, and the acidifying solution used in different occasions can be thickened.
